Professional Experience
Michele joined Grant Thornton in 2016 as Partner.
He is member of the BoD of Ria Grant Thornton, and he currently holds the position of managing partner of Italian Nord-West Region and Head of Milano Office.
He joined Deloitte & Touche S.p.A in 1987 and he became Partner in 1998. He dealt with the auditing of various medium/large-sized companies. Further, he managed special assignments aimed at the valuation of companies as part of share acquisition plans and the examination of specific problems related to accounts. In 2001, whilst remaining a Partner of D&T, he was appointed Managing Partner in the consulting services sector of the D&T network. In 2003 he became in Partner at Deloitte Consulting S.p.A and appointed Board Member and Vice-President. He was also appointed CEO of Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services S.r.l., a subsidiary of Deloitte Consulting which provides services on Internal Audits, SoX and Corporate Governance.
Michele has experience in the following sectors: consumer product, manufacturing, energy, media & communication, real estate, retail and commercial services, and no profit.
Education
Michele graduated in Business Administration in 1986 from the "Luigi Bocconi" Commercial University of Milan.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Michele has been registered as Chartered Accountant in Milan since 1990 and entered on the National Register of Auditors since 1995.
He is Member of the Corporate Oversight Commission of the Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan.
